Well, its still awfully cold out there, but inside, we are starting to Think Spring! Not much longer and the increasing hours of sun, will work their magic!
Are you ready? With our shorter growing season, it is helpful to start some of your seeds in a sunny window. But remember, most plants are not good at waiting, and if you start too soon, they will not transplant well. Its good to get your seeds early, but don't start them too soon! Read the package carefully, and it is generally safe to think of our last frost dates as being around Memorial Day!
Container Classes will be offered again this spring, Check back regularly for the dates and times of each class. And remember, as always, classes are free! Just plan to pay for whatever plants or materials you use, and you may even bring your own containers if you wish! We will keep your finished works of art here in a warm greenhouse for 2 weeks, until it is safe to put them out! Great family fun!
During March I will be updating the Daylily pages with all of Les's newest acquisitions! Please feel free to contact us with any questions and comments. As always, we are happy to dig and ship during the warmer months!
